Camping at Tumjang offers one of the most rewarding experiences in Assam’s highlands surrounded by pine forests, grassy meadows, misty sunrises, and peaceful tribal village surroundings—perfect for an offbeat nature escape.
Most trekking groups set up overnight camps at Tumjang village, located on the trail after P. Leikul village. It is a common and safe camping spot with open areas suitable for tents for relaxing before the sunrise trek to Mt. Sielkal.
